Learn how Shakeology WILL save you money...

I know so many of you want shakeology but are not sure it is worth the price. My hope here is to not build value in shakeology in hopes to build you up to getting the product, but to show you that you actually would NOT be spending more money than you would other wise on your monthly budget to get your hands on shakeology.

So Please Read...

Shakeology retail price is $119 for a one month supply (30 servings at one serving per day). It will help you loose more weight and create more energy without the use of stimulants or anything else unnatural. The value is there, we know that already so I won't spend time telling you how great and beneficial shakeology is for your well being.

There are two BIG ways to save money on shakeology so that YOU can finally get yours. You can combine the two ways or do one or the other. One way to save is to do your purchasing using the huge coach discounts and the other way to save is by taking shakeology as a meal replacement. I'm going to break both ways down for you so you can see how valuble these savings are in terms of saving you a good chunk of money.

To save money on the purchase itself you can save $30 on the retail price if you purchase it as a COACH (25% discount). In the spirit of no surprises there is a monthly coaching fee of $14.95 for a net savings of $15 every month on shakeology and a one time start up fee of $39.95 which will be bought and paid for in in your SECOND month just by the automatic coach discounts. Oh yes, that first month coach fee of $14.95 is FREE. This means you can save $15 per month begining with your FIRST purchase on shakeology just by purchasing with the coaching discounts and it doesn't matter if you have any interest in actually coaching or doing anything else with your coaching membership for that matter. I actually have coaches who are coaches ONLY so they can take advantage of the huge discounts coaches have on all fitness programs and supplements. They are saving literally HUNDREDS of dollars each month with the various savings combined, all for just a $15 monthly fee. If you want to save lots of money then making your purchases with the coach discounts makes sense.

To save money purely by using the shake use it as a MEAL REPLACEMENT. You are going to spend money on your meals anyway. There is no way around that. Spend your money replacing just one meal per day on a shakeology meal which is going to be more nutritious for you anyway AND in far less calories. That way you are simply trading off one meal for another without spending extra money and possibly even SAVING money depending on how much you "typically" spend on food. Shakeology breaks down to between $3 and $4 dollars per meal. That is a pretty dang inexpensive meal AND you are getting far more nutrients your body needs AND in far less calories. It is a WIN - WIN - WIN situation.

Using either one of the two methods I described above will SAVE you money plain and simple. Combining both methods will save you the most (an extra $15 a month just on shakeology alone), easily.

Create a FREE account on my Beachbody store website so that you can purchase shakeology for yourself at retail price today and save using shakeology as a meal replacement OR sign up for the coach discount and save that extra $15 a month in addition to the meal replacement savings.

I have many ideas for recipes and savings so make sure you take advantage of my free service to help YOU get the most out of your health and your purchases.

KFC is a LIAR and they need to be called out for it.

It's a point of fact that KFC proudly advertises zero grams of trans fats on their nutrition labels and in their marketing campaigns all while using trans fats in their food preparations. The new grilled chicken is especially being touted as a healthier choice for chicken all while that too is being prepared using trans fats.

Here is a statement from the kfc.com website:
"All of your KFC chicken products contain Zero Grams Trans Fat per serving. KFC has found the perfect recipe, incorporating the Colonel’s 11 herbs and spices with a new cooking oil that contains Zero Grams of Trans Fat per Serving. Besides our finger-lickin’ chicken, many of your favorite KFC side dishes have Zero Grams Trans Fat per serving, including mashed potatoes and corn on the cob."

Now, I challenge YOU to go to kfc.com and click on the "Zero Grams Trans Fat" Navigation link. Yes, they actually have an entire section of their website gloating about a lie and I am going to prove it to you. After you have read over their "Zero Grams of Trans Fat per serving" Statement on "All of your KFC chicken products" click on the Ingredients statement and do a search for "Hydrogenated". You can do this easiest by clicking on the Binocular icon to the upper left and search for the word, "hydrogenated". You will pull up as I did a total of 79 results! That is an astonishing number for a fast food chain to claim zero grams of trans fats. Shouldn't that high number read zero if they don't use any trans fats? There is no grey area here it is a blatant in excusable dangerous lie that is at least partially responsible for the health crises in our great nation.

For those of you unfamiliar with hydrogenation... Any time you read an ingredient list and you see either hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil or fats then it has trans fats regardless of what the nutrition label says. Hydrogenated fat (trans fat) is a man made "synthetic" like substance to reduce spoilage over longer periods of time. The health affects are known to be unstable and have been for a while. Man invented hydrogenation, a chemical process of hydrogenating perfectly good and natural unsaturated fats (healthy fats) and transforming them into hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils known as trans fats. Man invented this chemical process around the late 1960's / early 1970's.

To name just a few of the very negative affects this substance has on the body... Lowers "good" cholesterol, raises "bad" cholesterol, raises overall cholesterol serum, raises triglycerides, has been associated with untold numbers of heart attacks and strokes etc. Here is a great publication for more information on trans fats, the political battles and the fatalistic damage it causes to people: http://www.heall.com/body/healthupdates/food/hydrogenatedfat.html

The F.D.A. recognizes ONLY two grams or more of trans fats a day as a HEALTH HAZARD. Trans fats slowly kills a person and yet their is STILL a legal loop hole that allows KFC and MANY others to advertise Zero Grams of trans fats. I believe in being given the right to know what I'm putting into my body so that I can choose for myself if I want that particular food or not, don't you?

Here is where KFC and thousands of other food manufacturers get away with out right lying to us in their nutrition labels. The government says food manufactures can legally round down to the nearest whole number per serving. That means if a food item contains point four grams of trans fat per serving or less they can print ZERO grams of trans fat on the nutrition label. The only way that you and I can know if this deadly substance is in our food is by reading the ingredients list to make sure hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils are NOT included. Sadly, KFC has this substance listed 79 times on the back of a nutrition label that reads zero grams.

How come KFC and MANY others still get away with these deadly lies? It's because of us. Far too many of us, we the people, are apathetic. Too many of us don't care. Power is always in numbers especially in a democracy and a market place that is fueled by consumer demand. Sadly too many of us are LAZY in learning, lazy in taking care of our health, lazy in teaching others, and too self centered to care.

I'm proud to associate myself with people who do care, who read my articles and appreciate their worth, who reach out to others, who nurture and support their fellow people. Now if only THAT kind of care and motivation can spread to the majority to replace an APATHETIC majority just imagine what we can do in this great nation of ours!

Tom - your friendly neighborhood Independent Beachbody coach...*laugh*

P.S. If KFC cleans up their ingredients I will be the first in line for a big ole basket of chicken because they have some yummy tasting food their!

An Example of Why I am SO PROUD to Be an Independent Beachbody Coach!

I found this well-informed blog post shared by a facebook user who was sharing it by another facebook user written by an Independent BeachBody coach, Rich, a few months back. I apologize in advance for not giving him proper credit. The origins of this article got lost in the various sharing over facebook. This article makes me so very proud to be an Independent Beachbody coach:

September 3, 2008 — Rich

I received a brilliant email yesterday from my top coach in Colorado, Mike Bent, and I absolutely have to share it with every one who thinks that BB is a pyramid scheme:

“My fiance and I were having a discussion the other day over a remark that one of her friends made. That remark went something like this “oh, that is just one of those pyramid schemes”.

One of our problems is dealing with the negativity surrounding the reputation of the phrases “pyramid scheme”, “network marketing”. “multi-level marketing (MLM)” or “direct selling business”.

First of all, the grand daddy of them all, Amway, went under very serious, expensive and prolonged investigation into this sort of activity back in the early 70’s. The results proved that Amway was not a “pyramid scheme” (which is illegal) and paved the way for the whole multi-level marketing industry that has boomed over the past 35 years.

In Quixtar’s (the current name used for the Amway distributor business) Business Rules and Regulations it states:

“A pyramid is a scheme in which an individual pays for the right to recruit additional persons into the scheme who, in turn, receive the same right to receive profits from recruiting others.

Three common elements of a pyramid scheme have been identified as: (1) a large, required initial investment or purchase of inventory: (2) direct payment for recruiting additional persons into the scheme; (3) heavy emphasis on recruiting additional persons, with little or no emphasis on selling products to consumers.”

Beachbody certainly has none of the above components of a pyramid scheme. Anyone who refers to Beachbody as a pyramid scheme is talking out of ignorance combined with obvious negative past experiences with MLMs in general or, perhaps, an illegal pyramid scheme. In fact, I was duped into one such scheme because the Chief Economic Advisor of the Reagan administration, Art Laffer of the infamous “Laffer Curve”, was on the Board of Directors of this company. That company did have several of the components mentioned above.

In fact, Beachbody is squeaky clean on this one as: (1) Beachbody has no required inventory, period; (2) there is no direct payment for recruiting in Beachbody, period; (3) Beachbody is all about products to consumers. In fact, on the last point, Beachbody is currently paying $90 million this year for new customers that it passes on to Emeralds and above. I am not aware of any other MLM that does this.

Another interesting fact is that Beachbody was not created to be an MLM. It was already a very successful company before adding a network marketing component. I am not aware of any other MLM company that has ever had such history before becoming a MLM. Are you?

There is no question that adding a coaching program was in the best interest of Beachbody’s customers. If you were the executive of Beachbody would you have created a coaching program with all the overhead of adding a coaching division within the company (the salaries of the coaches, office space, additional phone lines, computers, etc) where the employees true incentive was to keep his job. Or would you opt for the brilliance of the network of independent coaches where:

1. There is no additional employees with additional salaries
2. The only way a coach can be successful is to be a product of the system
3. Being a product of the system he/she is a few steps ahead of the customers and any new coaches that he/she sponsors
4. There is a non-salaried advocate of the company to create new customer activity and to advise existing customers of different or additional products to improve their fitness goals
5. Because, in essence, coaches get paid to be fit through the system of sharing, existing coaches will help the whole system grow. As the coaching network grows Beachbody will have a tremendous impact for turning around the greatest epidemics in the history of the US - Type 2 Diabetes because of a grossly overweight society.

Our opportunity is unprecedented. There has never been a greater need for a fitness and health system that works. And I have never been exposed to a fitness and health company that works as well as Beachbody. Most people will not get involved because it is a network marketing (MLM) company and/or opportunity. I believe the reasons they will get involved will be one of these:

1. To personally improve their physical appearance
2. To look and feel healthier
3. They were convinced that Beachbody has superior products to achieve their weight and fitness goals
4. Because a medical advisor or doctor told them that they must loose weight (this will be big soon with the coming Type 2 Diabetes product)
5. That they needed a motivation or reason to be fit other than number 4 above (I was in this category)
6. They want to be part of society’s weight solution instead part of the problem
7. They want an at home business that makes sense
8. They like the idea of getting paid to be fit

It is my opinion that after someone is involved and really understands this company’s vision, that they will stay in this program for most of the above reasons.

The company desperately needs additional active coaches to succeed in its mission. In my opinion, that is why they are having current recruiting contests and, most importantly, that is why they are going to get new coaches the same way they know how to get new customers - infomercials.”

Freedom Isn't Free, Freedom Isn't For Everyone - Voluntary VS. Mandatory

Why do so many people mean to get in shape, start their own business, follow their dreams or take hold of their life in general and never seem to follow through? Because those kinds of activities are voluntary. When it becomes mandatory then it gets done. Most people will follow through with something only if it becomes mandatory (I.E. the threat of being fired by an employer). If being fit and healthy were mandatory to avoid being fired I guarantee you everyone would be in shape and eating right year around instead of just before summer and never learning how to workout right or eat right anyway. I am not advocating mandatory fitness by any means. I am advocating personal autonomy AND exercising personal autonomy which seems to be lacking big time in our great nation sadly.

Many do not follow their dreams because following dreams is not mandatory and it shouldn’t be mandatory. Your boss for example is not going to fire you or penalize you for not following your dreams. Real independence is when you no longer depend on an employer, or anyone for that matter, to get things done. Lets face it, being independent is not for everyone because some just don't have the mind set for independence and are not even willing to open their minds to such a mind set of exercising more personal autonomy and taking hold of their life. Many people feel a strong sense of “neediness” to be employed by someone else otherwise they won't get anything done. It's a sad but true reality and a severe lack of personal independence and autonomy. Surrendering your dependency to someone else such as an employer is not living independent which is contrary to popular belief. Some of my friends are employed and they LOVE what they do which is totally different than the common person (which happens to be most people) who go to work motivated by only a paycheck to pay the bills and stay just over broke. It is an important distinction to make because independence or dependence derives from the two very different kinds of motivation here. I am speaking to people who are motivated by a paycheck that keeps them just above broke but want out of that scenario of dependency to an employer. Who I am NOT speaking to are people motivated by a paycheck that keeps them just above broke and not wanting out of that scenario of dependency to an employer. To each their own I am not here to judge, only to teach those who want the knowledge and help to reaching their dreams of independence.

An independent person will exercise personal independence and autonomy to take hold of their life and follow their dreams with nothing but the DRIVE they feel from the inside (often motivated by what they witness going on in the outside environment). THAT my friends is a picture of a truly independent human being practicing personal autonomy. An employer will make certain things mandatory but those things will not include following your dreams because the companies success is irrelevant to your dreams anyway. Only YOU can make your dreams mandatory. Even my friends who work for an employer who love what they do are independent human beings because they are motivated NOT by their employer but by their passion for what they do.

So what is it you want? Do you want more energy? More strength? More health and feelings of wellness? More time? More money? To be self employed? To make a fortune doing something you love? The moment you are motivated by your passion is when you start on a path toward independence. The moment you begin to exercise your own personal autonomy is when you begin to become an independent human being. When you decide, commit, and succeed you have reached true independence and freedom to do all the things that you ever wanted to do. Decide, Commit, Succeed happens to be the Team Beachbody philosophy. Those three words sum it up beautifully AND is adaptable to whatever that YOU want it to mean for YOUR life.

My call to action for YOU is to think about what you want in life and let THAT motivate you. If you take that first step then you can put yourself on a path that leads to the things that YOU want. If you don’t take that first step then I can promise you that you will never make it to step number two which means unless you are the heir to a millionaire uncle you will always have what you’ve already got and nothing more. If being an independent business owner and having more health appeals to your sense of passion I invite you to get in touch with me Today.
