HUGE Opportunities in Lifes Setbacks and Challenges

Don't discount the setbacks, challenges, negative people, and over all struggles you experience and feel in your life.  Every single setback, problem, challenge, temporary failure etc has opportunity!  Don't feel so "defeated" just because you've experienced so many setbacks and challenges.  Instead make a discovery and become empowered to change everything.

Every  setback, challenge, negative person, and over all struggle you experience and feel in your life is going to build up your experience and resilience.  There is no such thing as a self made success story who didn't build up some massive experience and resilience in the process of becoming that amazing inspiring success story.  They just decided their dream was too big to be denied.  Their "why" was bigger than their challenges, setbacks, and over all struggles.  If you plan to build a BIG Dream then plan to struggle.  But to give you some comfort... The pain of regret can be weighed in pounds while the pains of struggle are weighed in ounces.  Embrace the pains of struggles any day over the pains of regrets because struggle is MUCH LESS painful than regret.

Absorb what you're suppose to learn from the experience!  Jim Rohn said, and I'm paraphrasing, you don't need less problems you simply need more skill.  Friends the opportunity to learn is hugely important!  If you are doing your daily personal development in conjunction with your daily practice then you are very much engaged in the back and forth rhythm of LEARNING.  The importance of that and being consistent with it cannot be underscored enough.  When you experience setbacks and so on pay attention to it there may be a lesson to learn so you can refine yourself to advance your perspective.  Personal growth and development, the wise use of your resources, and staying connected to your network of support can do dramatic things to speed up that process of a more desirable result from your daily actions!

Be excited to jump in and fail so you have something to learn from, a means to grow resilience from, and something to grab hold of to pull yourself up and advance your perspective.  Only when you quit do you transcend a temporary failure into a permanent one.  Otherwise that failure is an important stepping stone toward success!  You need to think of them as such.  If you can do that then how you respond to what happens to you, both good and bad, will be different and you will have real power to design your life how you've always wanted to live it.  No economy or political landscape will stop you.  No one in your family or close circle of friends will succeed in pulling you down to sink with them.

Assignment:
This week I want you to write down at least a dozen things that happen to you no matter how small or big that you perceive as a set back or challenge. If you pay attention you will notice HUNDREDS a dozen is nothing.  Then I want you to write down what happened, what you've learned from that experience, and what refinement you can make toward a more desirable result.  Then share that with someone who nurtures you to grow.  Talk about it with someone or a group of someones who want to succeed with you.  By ourselves we do not have the answers but together we do have all the answers.  Wisdom is found in the council of many if we really team up and fill in each others weaknesses there will be NO STOPPING ANY OF YOU!

Tom
p.s. I'd be real interested to hear about the assignment if anyone takes that up.
