Shakeology Vs. Myoplex

Photobucket

In absolute dollars Shakeology is cheaper with or without the coach discounts but even more so with the coach discounts.

First and foremost the value doesn't compare.  The first red flag I saw in Myoplex is that it contains artificial flavors.  A second red flag is that it contains sucralose as its main sweetener (Sucralose is an artificial sweetener that we are not made to metabolise properly.  If you're a diabetic you're in even more danger than the rest of us).  The third red flag, considering this is suppose to be a 'health' drink, is that it contains 5 grams of saturated fat.  The forth and last red flag that caught my attention is that it comes with no physical activity.  You're on your own with Myoplex.

The 5 grams of saturated fat also goes to show the very little care they used in extracting nutrients from milk ingredients.   If they put so little care into extracting nutrients from milk ingredients then odds are favorable they destroyed many of the nutrients over all that is found in Myoplex; rendering it a pretty useless 'health' drink.  The proof is in the user feedback I get over and over again from my Shakeology users who have tried Myoplex in the past.  The common complaint about Myoplex, other than the bad taste, is it doesn't fill a person up.  It leaves you unsatisfied like you're starving.  That feeling of starving is the result of consuming a nutritional with badly destroyed nutrients.  If the makers of Myoplex, EAS, don't have enough of your interest at heart to at least maintain the integrity and biological availability of the nutrients they put into their nutritionals why even bother lining their pockets with your hard earned money?  In my opinion EAS is un ethical to profit off of their consumers by selling them bad nutritionals.  I will not be buying anything EAS made or suggesting them to anyone who wants to get healthy and I hope you don't either.

The only good thing I see in Myoplex is it's nutrient partitioning of 24 grams of carbohydrates to 20 grams of protein. In my opinion, after seeing how negligent they are in making a 'healthy' nutritional product, they added 20 grams of protein because that's something that people generally look at when consciously buying a 'health' nutritional.  The craze seems to be all about the protein so EAS responds to the consumer demand.  Unfortunately consumers largely STILL do not demand all natural whole food ingredients so companies like EAS will continue to make piss poor nutritionals unless a shift in consumer demand takes place.
